I think that both OH3LB and OH7WV are correct.

Yet, hands up those of you who do NOT get a kick out of a
climbing solar flux graph or the MUF reaching 35 MHz?

More spots - more room the bands - also for low-power stations.

Less spots - less QSOs - even your tried-and-tested headphones
start to annoy you.
