että välillä alkoi tuntua sellaiselta "kävelevältä mainokselta" :)

Comments:

Spent some time operating WAE and preparing the station for next weekend's
Scandinavian Activity Contest on CW.

Can't say much about the low bands since I mostly slept (slacker..!) during
those openings. However, in a fun twist I did the QTC thing with JH1GBZ on
80m
SSB on Saturday. The upper bands 20m and 15m were in pretty nice shape
towards
both the east and west, but not much life on 10m. 

The QTCs add a fun spice to WAE. You certainly have to re-align your
thinking
from running and running like in most other contests, because
"stopping" to exchange 10 QTCs is worth as much as 10 QSOs in one
minute!

The station worked well, including the live audio/video streaming and the
live
score submission to cqcontest.net. Now I just need to get rid of my cold and
the consequent 20-dB attenuator and infection in my right ear that I got
from
flying due to a business trip...

Thanks to Martti OH2BH and Leena OH2BE for use of their fine summer cottage,
and to everyone for the QSOs and QTCs. CU next weekend in SAC, the "Polar
Battle"!
