Alas, yes ;-)  The 30m trap on my R7 was blown with far less than 200 
watts shortly after the antenna was first put up.  Cushcraft promptly
sent a replacement, which lasted only a few weeks before it too was
blown.  The **second** replacement trap has lasted well over a year
now though - it's a slightly different design, using 2 tubular caps
instead of just one.
