The 1993 Top Ten reasons why you joined the CQ-CONTEST reflector!
#10 - You couldn't get K1EA on the phone and you thought E-Mail was the
ticket!
#9 - Propagation to UW9AR is much better on Internet than on 20 meters.
#8 - You live west of the Missippi, and try as you might, you just can't
raise K1DG on 3830 after the contest!
#7 - You've always wanted to see your call in print & sending messages to the
reflector makes you feel
       warm & fuzzy all over.
#6 - You needed more information on the vanity callsign program & what the
other contesters thought the
        perfect callsign was.
#5 - You just don't get enough DX info from your local packet cluster &
though the contesters don't like
your questions... They always know the answers!
#4 - You feel someone should consider equalized contest scores so you can
win the DX contest from
Bimidji with your trapped all band attic dipole and HW-7, but the NCJ
won't publish your letters!
#3 - It was free & you don't get any mail without it.
#2 - You don't have to worry about copying ALL of the calls in the contest,
just ask the guys on the reflector!
#1 - You always wanted to know more about celebrity hams like Joe Walsh.
