Hi everyone, hope you all more fun in CQWW than I did. Due to various circumstances beyond
my control, the equipment was a total shambles and therefore was not conducive to a
"real contest effort" (TM). Anyway, details will follow.
Ed Kritsky, NT2X, was one of the members of the XF4M expedition this past weekend, but has
not been heard from since. There have been no packet postings of XF4M since Sunday
evening, nor any contact with Ed by any other means other than amateur radio. His family
is getting worried (3 days now) and would like some news of his well being. If anyone has
heard or worked Ed or the rest of the group, I would appreciate hearing about it so I can
pass the information on to his family here in NY.
Thanks/73 de J.P.

I'll post the exact numbers later, but we had 6023 Q's for 7.4M. VP2E had
8000+ Q's for 12+M and smoked our butts. We were both M/S.
Some quick comments:
Scott, Mike and I had a complete blast!
Smoked a 930 before contest. Thought we had smoked an amp during test
until we found a bad barrel connector.
Got to meet K1DG, WB1HBB, KA1XN, N5AU, KH8AL, and WX9E.
FOX had a 328 exact-hour run of EUs on 15 Saturday. Estimated that the
top non-exact-hour rate for that run was 344.
On babes, when I was running W's on 10 Saturday afternoon I get a gab
message from FOX that says "Topless babes are COOL especially on our beach".
Kinda broke my concentration for a minute. Stay tuned for the official
Babe report when FOX gets back from KP4-land.

Would anyone within 5 hour driving range of Charlotte, NC be willing to turn
over "the keys to the sports car" for Phone SS. Actually, I could bring
rig, computer, headset, etc. Also would bring all my food and drinks.
I only need your aluminum.
