Now why can't Field Day have separate weekends for cw AND ssb...
and hey, maybe RTTY too! Then I'd have a catchy call more than
once a year...

PS - I worked a chap on cw the other day with the suffix OJ. If
that wasn't bad enough, he ended the QSO and signed off with
didit!

In the 1982 WW Phone, operating with K5TM and K5ZD at the famous QTH of
NP4A:
CQ CONTEST FROM NINE PAPA FOUR ALPHA.
(Mass confusion)
and
(Have I said this before?)
KD5SP used to have the call KA5GJO, which he phonetically spelled (in SS
Phone)
Kilo Alpha Five G Japan J Germany O America.
Hour after hour, with very *few* repeats. Makes you wonder what went into
their logs.

Hi all
I will be in Marseilles or London area during CQWW Phone in Octovber and I'm
looking for a MS or MM group I can join for the contest. Anywhere within a
few hours train of London or in the Marseilles area would be great. I have to
catch a flight home from London on Oct 31 at 2pm so thats my only limiting
factor.
I have over 25 years experience in WW from several stations in Canada/US as
well as the home QTH.
Please contact me at joel.weiner at ualberta.ca
