2-radio operation

Hiya, folks-

Seeing the recent scores from SS has finally got me off my butt and
contemplating a 2-radio operation. I know the basic concepts, but that's
about it. Has anybody ever published a primer on how to implement a 2-radio
contest station? Basic ideas, things you should watch out for, etc? You
know, "A beginner's guide to two-radio contesting" or something like that?

Thanks,

Sean

We've kept it no secret that PVRC has been trying to "revitalize" and
bring in new members.

I sent a message out on packet to the guys to mark PVRC on their log and
if they're not current on the meeting requirement for membership and
score-counting to let me know and we'll make sure we get them to the
required meetings in time. Someone raised the question of whether this
is ethical, given the 2 meeting requirement in a year and 1 meeting
before membership, that sort of thing.

I'd like your thoughts and see if I can find a consensus.

1. Give me your perspective in general.
2. In the club competition my view is the contest isn't over for
score eligibility purposes until the second weekend (second mode) since
the modes are combined.
3. The contest may not be "over," for these purposes until the log
deadline. If someone meets the eligibility requirements by the log
deadline is that sufficient?
4. Do you see this as an ethical question (at all) or more of a
technical question of the sponsor's requirements?
