Bonehead mistake

Please accept my apologies for the multiple posts regarding Rohn and
the Omni VI and whatever else shows up from yesterday. I initially got
an "Undeliverable message, try again later" from cq-contest, so I
tried again, several times (from my home account, too, later), not
stopping to think that I had several other lists as addressees, too.

I know better, and feel badly about the waste of resources and
annoyance this may have caused folks. Kind of like not realizing the
memory keyer is running "CQ, CQ, CQ", and on the wrong VFO besides.

     Red-faced in Libby,

     Steve KJ7CH

Let me apologise too -- I *thnk* I may have sent a message or two with
my software asking for receipts! Geez I hope all the receipts don't start
showing up on the mailing lists and newsgroups!

That doesn't constitute fodder. Gerbil food maybe, but not proper fodder.

The message to the reflector from Wayne Overbeck, N6NB, who was quoted in the
FCC R&O on the new RF exposure rules was titled: "...from the horse's
MOUTH".... Since his involvement is counter to the interests of our public
service hobby, I have only one question:

Which part of the horse's body was that again?

Subject: Links To Propagation Information For Contesters

For those of us who can't open a band just by pressing the F1 key, I've put
a section of links to propagation information FOR CONTESTERS on my website at:

http://www.4w.com/deemer/proplynx.htm

This is NOT a collection of links for propagation students; rather, they go
to practical propagation information and forecasts that should prove of
value to CONTESTERS plotting strategies for upcoming events. The links
point to both propagation information that is right up to the minute and
forecasts of conditions up to a month in the future.

If anyone knows of other such links I would love to add them to the list. I
am especially interested if anyone knows if the forecasts in the DX Bulletin
are available somewhere on the 'net. (Those forecasts helped me immensely
in a WPX contest, by warning of a "recurrent coronal hole" that was likely
to seriously degrade conditions on Sunday. It did, and saving my off time
for the second day proved to be a real good move!)
