Grid Square Unknown

Bill, that is why I suggested to Tree that the exchange not be grid squares or
any information available by Buckmaster, ect. This would include DOB. Why not
let the individual make up his own 4 letter ( or whatever ) code? When he submits
his log, he sends the code ( read 59905 ) with his log. Whoever worked him must
then have logged the information correctly. For example I might send the word
"boot", or reverse my call or use an old call, ie (K4DJC) or KDJC.
Everyone then has a unique exchange known only to him, and if you blow it, you
won't be able to get it ( unless you find the station again and just sit and
listen. )

Hi Kris,
I didn't see it that way at all. I voted for the code and more theory and
found there were acceptable responses for me to choose to get my feelings
across. I also don't think the League is trying to force the issue. But hey,
I might be wrong......

If you need the puny aluminum-free signal from my low dipoles to weaken the stronger of the two teams, I'll be happy to give them my maximum effort.

How, exactly, are we defining "Low Power"? Can I use your S-meter as my measuring method? (I hope you don't intend to make me measure the Near Field).

I found the Website at:

BTW it's FAR section 77 that covers towers.
Thanks guys.
