Hello Mike,

I must congratsulate you on your continuing accomplishments in contesting.
I made note of you from an earlier posting which I think was made by your
dad. Thanks for your efforts and keep it up!!

I did my first contest at age 8. I was K5LWL, and my dad told me one 
Saturday morning to get on the air at 5:00 PM. I did, not knowing what
a contest was. The contest was Sweepstakes. Back then it was a 2 week
contest. I finished the contest making 32 QSOs. That was in 1957. Needless
to say, I was hooked. Except for my years at college and my years working
overseas, I think I have been in most of the SS contest throughout the years.
Ultimately in 1987, 30 years later, I was fortunate to win Sweepstakes.

I think with your enthusiam, you will succeed as a winner. My best to you.
