I am sure Jeff is wondering if that witch Bertha is heading for his QTH, too!

Like most of humankind, contesters often tend to shine in the face of
adversity - you two go get em, blow the competition out of the water!

Look for W1AW/3, operating from the W3LPL QTH in Glenwood MD, piloted my a
team of contesters from up and down the east coast. Of course the
abbreviation is ARRL.

10 meters was good late in the afternood/early evening on July 4th
and July 7th with a range of 1000 - 2000 miles from NH. I didn't really try
it any other days. I was hoping for some 10 meter activity during the IOTA
and IARU contests. "There's No meters like 10 meters".

FYI: Bertha Strike Probabilities (as of 2100Z July 9):

Ponce PR 74 (but Bertha is sliding by PR to the North, keeping the island
on her weak side; here's hoping!!)

Fort Pierce FL 14
Tampa FL 12 (but the latest info indicates the witch will start to turn
north on Wednesday; probably enough to miss South Florida, too...)

San Francisco CA ZERO

So: GL to the Florida Contest Group Team -- and all the other teams, too --
next weekend. (In any event, I'll be handing out more points to more teams
than K1ZX in the CONTEST...)

Both of these questions are answered by the CQ-Contest FAQ which was
mailed by Trey about a week ago. Doesn't anyone read these things?!?!?!
