I have done that, as well as using the Beverages for receiving two directions
at the same time without interaction.
>If so, would you share your experience, did you use any ICE components,
>etc? Thanks..........
I build my own components. I have no experience with ICE.
You can use a conventional two wire Beverage with transformers at both ends.
That allows access to the far end at the feedpoint.
What you do is bring both "ends" of the Beverage back to the shack, and
terminate the lines in a terminating resistor. Bridging amplifiers driving
the receivers allow selection of both ends without affecting termination.
Running two receivers in one direction is even more simple, all you need is a
magic T splitter.

Well, now you do.
Go to Contesting On-line (http://www.contesting.com) and check out ZD8Z in

Message-ID: <9609112052.AA21689 at dii.com>
It looks like the FCC is preparing for the onslaught of gate 2:
This morning's FCC database update included purging thousands of calls expired
more than two years as well as cancelling a large number of others (mostly
silent keys, but a sprinkling of other cases). The purged calls (including 373
4 character calls) should all be assignable when gate 2 opens. The cancelled
calls generally had some portion of the two year wait still running.

Ward, N0AX, has taken care of alerting the major ham radio publications.
Even internationally. The contest should be announced in print.
I have the following volunteers. I have decided rather than keep track of
the people who were going to be our "Club go getters" I would just let them
involve themselves (see next paragraph).
If you are on the list below OR plan to help with interest from your club,
please subscribe to StuPerry-REQUEST at contesting.com with 'subscribe' in the
body. We will use this forum to keep everyone up to speed on the contest
and to talk about ideas. I would like to only include people who want to be
actively involved with the contest, so this list will not be open. I would
also expect a light amount of mail from it. I hope anyway.

Gate 2 opens on the 23rd. Does this mean that I can send my application
BEFORE the 23rd as long as it doesn't get there before that date or does
it mean that the cancelation on my envelope containing my application has
to be dated 23rd or AFTER?
