I too noticed some fantastic openings on 10 meters during the 
weekend.   (relatively speaking of course).   Good shortpath
openings to JA, DU, VK, and ZL.   Some good contacts into ZS6
with the band peaking at about 06:00 with some nice signals from
the RA1/2/3's and the ever-loud OH's.   

Setup here was a Drake C-line running 120PEP to a 2 ele quad
setup for 20/17/15/12 meters.   Used a tuner to load on 10M, and 
what fun.   Interestingly, the SFI was still in the 70's....too bad 
folks dont check 10 till a contest!

Here's hoping the flux keeps rising ... first SSB contest since
November Sweepstakes 1991 -- fun.
