Why? I got my 1997 mug and my log was lost and I had a confirmation for
it... If you remember, the pins and mugs are mailed out way before the
logs are checked. I still like the pin and mug program even if they don't
mean much. They make people enter the contest who would not normally do
so.(Hey, I can get a pin or maybe even a mug).

Signed, a semi casual contester who calls CQ and uses the cluster when it
becomes necessary. And yes, I entered as assisted even though I used the
cluster for maybe only  around 1% or less in 1998.
