[CQ-Contest] 3rd Annual Ontario QSO Party - April 24-25, 1999

Hi All!

There's just a month to go until the 3rd Annual Ontario QSO Party.

The contest will take place from 1800 UTC on Saturday, April 24th to 1800
UTC on Sunday, April 25th.  We join the Florida QSO Party, the Swiss
Helvetia Contest and the Nebraska QSO Party in making April 24-25th a
fun-filled contesting weekend!

We're very close to having all 48 multipliers filled this year and hope to
have them all filled by contest weekend.

Complete rule details, entry forms and details on stations that plan to be
active are available on the ODXA website at

Please note that there is an error in the points scheme in the April, 1999
issue of "CQ" Magazine.
Points are HF SSB 1 point, HF CW 2 points, VHF+ 5 points.  Also note that
bonus point station VE3ODX this year only will be operating as special
event station XL3D.

Also of note, is the launch of the "Ontario Award".  Rules are also
available on the website...but the best way to earn the award is to get on
the air for the Ontario QSO Party.
