Dear friends,
The May came, and, as usual,
an annual 43rd CQ-M International DX Contest 1999 will be held
from 2100z 8 May till 2100z 9 May, on HF bands, CW and SSB,
plus independent parallel competition among SSTVers.
There are no changes in rules. Please note the updated email
address for logs -- cqm99 at mai.ru , and a minor addition for SWL entry.
The CQ-M is a popular spring contest with thousands of participants
from different countries and continents of the world. It gives a good
chance to make many hundreds of Qs, to work new CIS zone or rare
Russian 'oblast'. Traditionally, CQ-M has a large awards program.
Over 300 diplomas were assigned in 1998! The leaders were awarded
with medals and plaques. To become more familiar with CQ-M, read
an article in May'99 issue of the "CQ-Contest" magazine (TNX K3EST).

Contest rules can be found there, or in any web calendar, or may be
received by email ( simply send a request to bagno at mai.ru ).
CQ-M is built in the most of logging programs, including TR-Log, NA-Log,
Super Duper. It is not difficult to tune any other software to the CQ-M.

The Krenkel Central Radio Club of Russia invites you to participate in
