Maybe it is just me, but I always felt I was wasting my time trying to work
spots off of packet. Half the time I couldn't hear them or they couldn't
hear me through the pileup. And I spent a lot of time spining up & down the
band. I haven't used the cluster for contesting in years, and I think that
internet spots would be worse. For a peanut whistle station in the middle
of the black hole it is better to go find your own than to chase spots all
over the band!
