I doubt that anybody can find fault in what is said here.

Having a packet cluster go out and find a new callsign for you, having 
a software package grab the callsign and properly enter the callsign 
into the log, and then having the software work the new callsign, 
without ever having to look at the S meter for the proper RST or copy 
the exchange, is a vast improvement over the old days where all this 
was done with propagation knowledge, code copying ability, and code 
sending ability.
