I agree, Jean.

My reply when CQing is: "TU TEST V31JP." "TU TEST" is shorter
than "QSL QRZ." My quick QSL message is "TU." I use the full QSL
message the most and the quick QSL message no more than twice
between full QSL messages.

By the way, your example is where you get docked for a busted
call if your wrong and the other station does not correct you,
but you have the option to stay and listen again for his call,
even record it. If he is sending his call wrong repeatedly, the
log checking should show it as an unstable call.
