[CQ-Contest] TS940S trouble

Hi everyone !

Just assembled my radioshack again after flat renovation, and the first
thing I did was switching my TS-940S on. Everything was fine until sudden
breakdown which mute receiver and digital redout showed dots instead of
frequency. Could anyone help?
The rig is 12 years old and so far worked perfectly.
Attempting reset resulted nothing. After switching off and on after some
minutes later  trx worked normally for another couple of minutes then died
again.

Any advice is much appreciated.
