[CQ-Contest] NAQP SSB Announcement

Hi,

Just a reminder that the August 2001 NAQP SSB Contest is this Saturday: 
1800Z Aug 18 to 0600Z, Aug 19.  Please remember to pre-register your teams 
by either using the new web form available at:

Some reminders:

1) Remember that the power limit for NAQP contests is a maximum of 100 
watts. Please turn down your power on transceivers that are capable of more.

2) Teams consist of 2 to 5 single ops who operate independently during the 
contest, but whose scores are combined after the contest for a total team 
score. There are no club or geographical restrictions on team membership. 
Teams must pre-register before the start of the contest (see above).

3) Be sure to accurately record the band for each QSO so that you and the 
"other guy" don't lose the QSO because you each logged it on a different 
band, particularly when moving mults from band to band.

4) Be sure to log the name and QTH (state/province/country) of QSOs with 
other North American stations. Some entrants are still losing QSOs and 
mults because of missing QTHs.

5) Log submission in Cabrillo format will be greatly appreciated.
