>1.8 IG9/IV3TAN 441,252 1203 24 102 96

        Two points Mauri:

1. You looked at ONE data point. The C4A CW score looks VERY vulnerable
to me since it is only 22% if the corresponding 80 meter CW record. The IG9
score is 54% of the 80 meter SSB record. I would expect that the C4A record
could easily be doubled which would only bring it up to 44% of the 80
meter CW record and would put it well ahead of the 160 SSB record. I
really expect it could be more than doubled based on 2000 CN8WW results,
especially if it were done in a low sunspot year like IG9 did in 1996.
(CN8WW 1594 Q's 4750 Q pts 22Z 96C = 560,500 points)

2. Looking at Alltime Continental Records, you get a more valid sample with
7 data points:

                CW over SSB (%)
Africa/World -66 (the one data point you used)
Asia +2
Europe +133
N. America +128
Oceania +52
S. America +152
USA +157

Average +80 (not far from the +89 average for the CQ 160...I
previously double counted Africa/World for the
CQ 160 stats I gave so 91% was changed to 89%)

                                                73, Bill W4ZV
