on the third hand, on cw you can go to narrower rx filters and hear less of the
ssb signal.  on ssb you can notch one or maybe two cw signals, but in even a 2kc
wide ssb filter there can be lots of cw ops running narrow filters and not
caring about the ssb.

but it hasn't been until more recently that very narrow cw filters allow you to
do the same to ssb... assuming you are running a reasonably decent radio.  this
is a necessity now with all the ssb and am traffic on the bottom end of 10m, you
either stay away from the channel centers or use narrow filters to cut them out.
