Hi John

I think it would be a lot easier to stay awake whey you have a
pileup calling all the time.  At least it keeps your mind alert.
Not like here in Oregon, at night, in the DX contests.  No
pileups calling me and not much that I can work on 80 or 160.  I
hear the East coast working Europe but not much heard here and
that makes it kinda hard to stay awake all night.  I know there
are some stations on the West coast that have beams on 40 and 80
that work a lot of stuff, but us l'il pistols with dipoles and
verticals have to wait our turn.  73 and hope to work you from
8P9Z.
