Yuma, AZ and San Diego, CA are miserable places to operate the
ARRL 10 Meter contest because there is absolutely NO propagation
to Eastern Europe. There is just not enough daylight in the
North Polar region to make that path possible, regardless of
sunspot number.

You can't even work one single station in those Eastern Eu countries
for the multiplier, not to mention the huge pool of stations there
for the points.
