ITU being part of UN follows national prefix allocations while DXCC is an
ARRL list.
There is also WAE list used in CQ WW and WAEDC contests.
Just for a fun check the following recent prefixes:  IH9, MZ5, R73, TA1,
YZ4...

73 de Mario, S56A, N1YU

P.S.  ITU list is very handy for new exotic prefixes.  AD1C prefers manual
editing of cty.dat :-)

  have to do that.  Just enter "sh/pr e2":
