You may have forgotten another rotten operating practice that causes a 
station to dupe another.

Mobile operators............

After these mobile guys work a contest station, the mobile guys refuse to 
pull off to the side of the road and write down the QSOed station's 
callsign so that they will not work that same station 50 or 60 miles 
further down the road.

The simple act of just pulling off into the roadside ditch and writing the 
QSO'ed station's callsign down on a Big Chief pad of paper in big bold 
"over age 40" print font would eliminate this.
