[CQ-Contest] no de no k

...the phenomenon of operator overshoot when pouncing is simply a byproduct
of unchained excitement.

You KNOW anymore the piles that await rare fresh meat when then finish a
CQ/QSO on the bands, packet has created almost instantaneous voluminous
pileups...so, what do you do - you know they are about to happen so you hope
to be the first familiar tone the DX station mentally locks onto and in your
eagerness you mash the F4 button a little too quickly, knowing there will be
50 stations calling the last thing you wanna do is be slow, but...

AGREED, a lot of guys are a lil too fast (kinda like on their first dates,
ya know!)

Gawd forbid someone on the other end uses K at the end of their CQs - you
know there will be a lot of premature F4ing WHENEVER that happens...

Since I don't do "the phone" I cannot say for sure but I bet there is a lot
less of this problem on SSB!

Timing is everything!
