Kenwood produced the IF-232 interface box to interface the TS-850 and other
rigs to a computers RS-232 serial interface.
There is another very similar "Kenwood-to-PC Interface" circuit available at
http://www.jps.net/k6xx/radio/pctsinfc.pdf
