HI Joe,
We have been using the Socket PCMCIA I/O card with great success.
Unfortunately, we have had very bad luck getting any serial I/O card to work
with Windows loaded, even when running in DOS mode. (They work FB when you
are running real DOS).
If I were to do it all over again (and I may since we have had decreasing
luck getting the serial cards working), I would use K1TTT's software to
network via Ethernet. Ethernet PCMCIA cards are significantly cheaper (like
$100 cheaper PER card) than serial cards.
If others have tips on how to get PCMCIA I/O cards to work in DOS mode,
please post it on the reflector.
