It is far more efficient, if it can be worked out, to log both of
them.  If you can time your exchange such that each person thinks you
are talking to him (Or her), you can log them both.  Done it many
times, did it in the GAQP ydy.  Only it doesn't work for serial
numbers.

This is the "Don Miller" method.
