In amateur bike racing, as W4AN can also attest, we have a VETERAN category,
with age being the only determining criterion.  This could take the lemon of
"increasing average age of contesters" and turn it into some major lemonade  :)

Leigh, you might need to explain that comment about "1950's-style spotting."
Today most people use that word to describe something else.

Does using a cane and reading glasses put you in the "assisted" category?
