[CQ-Contest] Field Day grin.....

Sometimes it's difficult to come to grips with the operating techniques and
the obvious inexperience of the FD operating hams that are worked in the
course of the 24 hours that is FD. Sometimes, though, it can be funny (or
sad, depending on how you look at it).

This was related to me by one of the SSB ops at K5DX:

A station called us. We gave the exchange. They gave something like "3a,"
then a pause, and with vox active, the operator obviously called to somone
at his loation asking "hey! what's our section?"

All we can hope for is that by using good operating practices and contest
style techniques, we set an example for other operators, whether they are at
our operating position with us and or at other FD sites. Maybe from
listening to us, they can and will pick up on and use the 'good' practices
we exhibit.
