How do you know if it's raining? You look and see if it's raining,
or you hold your hand out and see if it gets wet. If it gets wet,
the chances are it's raining. If it doesn't get wet, the chances
are it's not raining.
How do you know if a CW signal has clicks? You listen to it. If you
can hear clicks, the chances are it has clicks, especially when, at
the same time, you can't hear clicks from other signals of similar or
greater strength.
