if nothing else make it into 2- 15 hour events and let us use different
calls for each segment so we cud at least compete against ourselves!
actually a guy cud do that now .... one way to increase the action and
reduce the boredom etc......

Dave,
With all due regards to one of my SS heroes, this just starts to
sound like another NAQP. If NAQP was such a good contest, it
would generate just as many participants and logs as SS.
But it doesn't. Duh?
Some of us old creaky guys need the full 24 hours to run up a
score -- if you can get a big enough score in 18 hours, then
treat yourself to a 6 hour nap. If that offends your work ethic,
then mow the lawn, go deer hunting, or surf the net for a
new girlfriend.
But don't screw with SS.
