Hi all,

Was just looking at the rules for the 10-10 contest
coming up later this month.

Under the heading  "Logs", here is the first line;

Logs are accepted from paid-up 10-10 members only,
and must be complete and in full compliance with the rules.

I was thinking of putting in a major effort (competing
against my son) this year in the CW section as a "tune-up" for
other contests.

Correct me if I'm wrong (hopefully) but if I end up with a
pretty decent score and submit my log, (seeing as I'm not
a "paid-up" member) my log won't even be considered and
"chucked into the round file"?

1. With well over 100k 10-10 numbers floating around there,
what is the yearly percentage of paid-up members?

2. Whats the sense in putting in a major effort for nothing?

3. BOY, I HOPE I'M WRONG.

Just my 2 cents

73 and GL to everyone in the 10-10 test,
John K1RC  (AKA  K1CGJ)
