Given the FCC "enforcement" of the "gentlemens agrement" on 160m,
whereby we are supposed to stay above 1843 on SSB, where should
I look for my 160m multipliers in the upcoming SSB CQWW contest?

I have a feeling that stations in EU and other parts of the world
could care less about the ARRL's "gentleman's agreement" on 160
meters. The band will probably be so crowded in EU during the SSB
contest that most of those guys are going to transmit where ever they
can find a clear spot. This whole agreement really puts those in the
US in a tough situation. If I hear ON4UN transmitting on 1830 should
I risk calling him there and maybe have the chance of getting a notice
from the FCC ?????
I would like to propose that those who will be transmitting below
1840 operate split frequency and listen higher in the band for USA
stations so our contesting friends in the US don't have to take this
risk. This is what we plan on doing from PJ2Z......
