[CQ-Contest] CQ WW and stupidity

Hello dear friends,

among a lot of other stupid things I read,
let me have the opportunity to write one myself.

Which of the following definitions is the correct one?

CQWW = CQ World Wide

or 

CQWW = CQ World War

I always thought the first one, till these days......!
