Hello all:
I am overwhelmed with the kindness expressed by so many of you offering
to QSP my log info the CQ via e-mail if my system won't work this year.
Many thanks.
I also have received a very nice personal note from W2VU. I would like
to forward it to the reflector, but suspect I should not without his
permission.
He said that over 90 percent of logs last year were received by e-mail.
I am very surprised to find it is that high. He also said they were
working with the post office on other solutions and that, as a last
resort, paper logs could be faxed in.
Don't be concerned that I will cancel your Barbados multipliers this
year, for the reason of log submission any way. The health of my father
and other contingencies could come up, but I am still planning to go
back in November.
See you in CQ WW SSB this year (on 10 meters primarily) from multi-multi
station NQ4I/W4KZ and in CW SS from W4AN. SSB SS will be from home and
may be a part-time effort. Hope everyone has a good contest season.
73,
John, K4BAI/8P9HT.
