In case you have not experienced it or were "blessed" by recent worm attack, 
this thing is very nasty. It creeps into your computer with email (no need 
for attachments), unpacks itself and starts flooding your computer and via 
internet connection infects other computers. I got it, spend two days 
fighting it. You need firewall to prevent attacks, antivirus is not 
sufficient!! Especially those with cable modems are very vulnerable. Download 
latest virus definitions for cleanup. Check the antivirus sites for more info.

ZoneAlarm ( http://www.zonelabs.com/ ) is a good firewall-like product
that prevents un-authorized access to the Intenet FROM your computer. 
This is different than most products which only provide incoming (not
outgoing) protection from the Internet TO your computer.  So if you got
infected, the infection would likely not spread.
