[CQ-Contest] NY/NJ/PA (Radio) Octoberfest

Fellow Radio Aficionados!

You are all invited to (Radio) Octoberfest at Verkhovyna Mountainview Resort 
in Glen Spey, NY (NY,NJ,PA tri-state area) hosted by the <A 
HREF="http://members.aol.com/k3bu/TeslaRC.htm">Tesla Radioclub</A> and 
Ukrainian-American Cultural Foundation - <A HREF="www.uacf.net">UACF</A> on 
October 6, 2001, starting at noon till ??? 

Come and have fun meeting other hams, DXers, contesters, while having good 
time and drinking Octoberfest beer. Enjoy Ukrainian and German food, listen 
or dance to endless polka's. Wear your badge, hat or shirt with callsign 
proud and meet other radio aficionados around the "radio" table.

140 acre Verkhovyna resort is the new home to Tesla Radioclub N2EE station. 
Join the semi-serious discussion of how many towers do we need to put up 
there. Come, join the club and get a free beer. 

Directions:
Take Hwy. 84 to Port Jervis, NY, NY exit 1; follow Rt. 6 through Port Jervis 
to traffic light with Rt. 87/42 signs, go through and follow Rt. 97 west for 
10.8 miles to Pond Eddy (motel on right, bridge on left), turn right onto 
High Rd. (Rt. 41), go up the steep hill for 1.7 miles, Verkhovyna is on the 
left. Plenty of parking.
