Friends,

I noted this notice from Canada Post floating around inside the ARRL today.

"On December 6, 2001, an amendment to the federal Constitution Act officially 
approved a name change from the province of Newfoundland to the province of 
Newfoundland and Labrador. Canada Post subsequently received an official 
request from the Newfoundland and Labrador provincial government to implement 
NL as the province's new provincial postal symbol."  See the website below
