[CQ-Contest] Do unto yourself as you would do unto others

All the posts about people being hard on themselves for little mistakes
displays refreshing honesty but overwhelming anal retentiveness.

If you're willing to forgive others as they forgive us, can't you forgive
yourself too?

Little mistakes happen. Deal with it. The regulations in any contest aren't
meant to persecute the honest mistakes but to guard against deliberate
dishonesty.

Also, it's probably a mistake to assume that minimum power laws are
applicable in a contest, given this: You never know how much is the minimum
UNTIL you make a contact, by which time it's over. To assume otherwise would
require calling CQ at the sub-watt level and increasing power until you're
heard. That wouldn't work very well, would it?

The Golden Rule doesn't just refer to how you treat others. You should also
afford yourself the same respect.
