I would not find it hard to believe that a consultant would ask:  If CQ 
Magazine can sponsor and publish what is arguably the biggest and best 
contest in the world, plus several others as well, with unpaid volunteers, 
why do are we paying people to do the same thing?

I don't think that's the conclusion we'd want.

Here's the scary part.  One of the Directors has stated in another message:

   "It'll be an interesting Board meeting this time - and this isn't the most 
    important issue."

Kinda makes you hold your breath in anticipation of what else we 
haven't been asked about.

As they allegedly embrace all the advantages of the internet over QST
for communications with the MEMBERSHIP, it is sort of telling that not all
Directors have even a token presence on the web.
