Thanks to Pete N4ZR showing me where to look, I was able to locate a
database and shamelessly dissect it. I bulldoze pennies for a living so
this didn't take more than a couple of hours.

X,XXX

Based on 2000 contests, the following appears to be the case...
Number of unique US calls submitting a log 8,476
Number of US logs 22,715
Number of unique US calls submitting multiple logs:
One 24 0.3%
Two 3,890 45.8%
Three 3,337 39.4%
Four 1,225 14.5%
Tot 8,476 100.0%
Source: Masterall.dta file on K8CC's website.
Data file was dissected, sorted by call, and counted. Assumption is K8CC
entered
all the data correctly for the logs submitted. Data anomaly is that no call
appeared only
once. Assumption was made that the first incidence was an index reference,
which was then
ignored for compilation purposes. The other odd fact is that only 24 calls
appear to have
submitted only one log. I just bulldoze the data. You can interpret as
fit.
