[CQ-Contest] FT-920 or IC-746pro

Hi All:
My Kenwood TS-690 has given up the ghost.
A lightning strike fried too many parts inside. So
it is time for a new rig.
I can't afford the $4000 for a Mark 5 or a 756pro, so
I am looking at the 920 or the 746pro. 
I am firstly a DXer but do contest in most of the big ones.

So could any one who has an opinion of these two rigs
please send me a note.
