[CQ-Contest] New tactic for finding a run frequency?

For an occational observer , who no longer has the stamina to work 48 hours
contests, there are too many people calling CQ and too few listening for
others. On a contest weekend there are CQ-stations all over the place, calling
without listening properly for whoever comes back ! One could get the
impression that the receiver gain was turned all the way down or they use so
narrow filters that unless a caller is within a few Hz of their passband( on
CW ), they loose the station.

This weekend 160 m is ruined by ssb contest. Here in Europe tha band was full
of stations calling CQ for long periods without a QSO ! What a waste of time
and spectrum, not to mention CW DX opportunities lost!
