Rick,
You are talking about stations signing /QRP as there are thousands of
them in every contest. I LOG every /QRP designator (because of the QSL's
I send) and in my FM/T93Y from the last year's CQ WW CW there there are
six (6) /QRP QSO's out of 4551.
Signing /QRP is sure waste of time, but much more of operating time is
lost when QRO stations are unnecessary repeating their
call/report/whatever...
