[CQ-Contest] Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Le,,

I use and like the Dell wireless keyboard/optical mouse combo. They're just
a couple of feet from the USB base module. No problems from RFI. Not too
big, unlike some. The KB says model is RT7D40

I have the Microsoft wireless optical mouse that Costco sells for about $22.
I think it's a Costco special edition of the blue one sold in other
retailers for a few dollars more. Works fine from several feet away
(looking at a large font on a 19" monitor). (I can't imagine how I could use
a 30' range.)

They use a couple of frequencies near 27 MHz. Just listened, and the Dell
mouse is on 27.045, and the Microsoft is on 27.145. Haven't heard the
keyboard.

Howdy...

Has anyone had any experience with these?

I've got an old Logitech wireless mouse that doesn't seem
to have any problems between the radio and the mouse.

I'm looking at a Gyration wireless mouse/keyboard
combo...it's apparently more powerfull than the Logitech,
as it has a 30' range compared to 5' on the Logitech. The
Gyration operates on 49 Mhz.

Any info about this combo or any others, or what to stay
away from would be appreciated.
