I wonder if anyone has ever thought of using the Dayton Convention Center, which is right across the street from the Crowne Plaza Hotel for contest/DX related activities. See http://www.daytonconventioncenter.com/default.asp . I would think it would plenty big enough for all the contest/DX related exhibitors to setup and the room for the dx/contest/antenna forums. With everything all centralized there would be no reason to go to Hara .... and experience all the hassles (i.e parking , crowds, bad/expensive food, etc...) Only limiting factor is what it would cost ???

It's too bad the ARRL and DARA don't realize the buying clout that DXer's and contesters ( compared to your shack-on-a-belt ham) bring to Dayton. They are the ones buying the big $$ items every year....
